State Funerals/Laying In State

A State Funeral is a Funeral Of A Head Of State, High Ranking Government Official, Governor, Congress Member, or Supreme Court Justice of the United States which takes place at either the State Capitol Building or Nationalist House.

Laying in state or laying in repose is the act of a dead body of a deceased politician, head of state or other high ranking officials that is generally held in a building of great signficance, such as the Congress Building(also known as, the Capitol Building).
